How It Came About

Back in 2017 when a block of local woodland came up for sale Fin and Joanna Broadbent jumped at the opportunity to purchase it. Fin was born and brought up there and through good fortune was successful in achieving a dream. With his parents acquiring the adjacent block, they ended up owning something quite special - a rewilded part of Polebrook Airfield that has over the past 75 years developed into a site brimming with biodiversity and a mesmerising array of different habitats.

While enjoying the site for its own benefits they felt that it would be an ideal opportunity to diversify and incorporate a low impact development of small scale bespoke cabins, that would not only let other people appreciate the woodland but also will help support the ecological management ambitions for the site.

After coming across Lifespace Cabins - a young company with a similar mindset, they realised that they had a good partner to take the project forwards.

Since then through the ups and downs of the planning process and all the other hurdles that invariably need to be crossed, they have created a haven for nature lovers and urban escapees in the heart of the rolling hills of Northamptonshire countryside.
